Short Mat Lawn Bowling to Reopen Monday January 31, 2022 at Century Gardens

Great News !!!

The Brampton Lawn Bowling Club will be able to reopen our Short Mat indoor program this coming Monday January 31, 2022 at Century Gardens Recreation Centre at the usual 1:00 pm start time.

All adults are welcome to come and join the fun.  Club membership is not required.  

Please arrive about 15 minutes early in order to check in with the City at the door and also get registered with the Club for the day's session.

The same Covid protocols for play remain in place as prior to the shutdown.

To enter City of Brampton Recreation Centres, you will need to show for scanning your proof of vaccination QR code issued by the Ontario government.   Plus you will need photo ID.

UPDATE JAN. 29/22     City no longer requires contact tracing due to recent change in Provincial Covid requirements.         New at this time, the City now also requires you to provide a completed "Recreation Covid-19 Contact Tracing Form" each day that you come to the Centre.  You may fill this form out online each day before you arrive or there will be paper copies to fill out at the entrance.  Here is the link to the online form:Brampton Contact Tracing Form

Update on Indoor Short Mats Bowling in Brampton

Greetings Fellow Lawn Bowlers in Brampton

Happy New Year and Best Wishes for 2022.

We regret to confirm that, following the recent Provincial Government announcements, the City of Brampton has temporarily closed all recreation facilities.  Thus, the Brampton Lawn Bowling Club's Indoor Short Mats Bowling program at Century Gardens is not able to take place at present.

The Club certainly hopes to be able to resume this fun activity in the near future.  Currently the earliest restart date would be Monday January 31, 2022 but this is subject to changing Provincial and City protocols.  

Please check back on this Blog for further updates as information becomes available and a restart date becomes definite.
