Good Bowling to Brampton Lawn Bowling Club members competing this weekend June 11-12th in Ontario East Regional Fours

Congratulations to Brampton Lawn Bowling Club members participating on the Ontario Lawn Bowling Association's District 9 Men's and Women's Fours Team winners  -  Vince Donohoe and Glen Patton and Mary Meldrum, Donna McCallum and Sheila Lumley

These Brampton Club members will represent District 9 at the Ontario East Regional Fours competition, Canadian Championship stream, at the James Gardens Club in Toronto this weekend June 11th and 12th.
Winners here will represent Ontario at the Canadian Championships.

Good luck and good bowling from all the Club members.

Welcome to New Members at the Brampton Lawn Bowling Club

The Brampton Lawn Bowling Club is extremely pleased to welcome our 21 new members that have registered to date for the 2016 season.  These new bowlers are enthusiastically learning the game and enjoying participating in all the Club leagues and events.  Indeed they have exceptional skills already and are a great asset to the Club.  We are all delighted to be meeting new friends on the greens.

Winners of the Ontario Lawn Bowling Association District 9 Mixed Pairs, 2016

The Brampton Lawn Bowling Club hosted the Ontario Lawn Bowling Association's District 9 Mixed Pairs Competition, Canadian Championship Stream on Saturday June 4th and Sunday June 5th.  Eight teams representing clubs in District 9 were entered from Milton, Port Credit, Oakville and Brampton.  The Brampton Team of Donna McCallum and Patrick May were the Winners.  Congratulations to Donna and Patrick along with all the competitors for an excellent event.  Now Donna and Pat will go on to represent District 9 and the Brampton Lawn Bowling Club at the Ontario East Regional Mixed Pairs competition to be held in Peterborough on August 6th and 7th.  Winners here will represent Ontario at the Canadian Championships.
